Ahh etsy, how you lure me in.

I have had my eye on this handmade necklace for a long, long time. Love how the silver is weathered and the opportunities to stamp anything you want.

What I Wore

I stumbled across this new-to-me blog today and promptly developed a deep crush. I adore the inspiring outfits and Jessica's style.

In particular, I really liked the outfit above because it's so fun, the way she's mixed the patterns is daring, and that huge statement necklace is great. I wouldn't ever mix these things together because I would fear looking like a fool, but Jessica looks great!

Go take a look and get inspired.

Note for me: time to look into coloured tights.

Paper Raven

I'm amazed that this is handcut paper. I'm a sucker for the beautiful type, simple design and delicate bird.

Polaroid making a come back!

Best news of the day:
Polaroid will re-launch the legendary Polaroid One Step Camera and is therefore commissioning The Impossible Project to develop and produce a limited edition of Polaroid branded Instant Films in the middle of 2010.

Etsy love

I took a wee Etsy break at work and fell in love with Thirteen Bees Vintage. It's not very often that I look through a shop and think, "Yes, yes, yes!"

Here are some items that are particularly pulling my heart strings.

Hello weekend

This isn't something new, but it's so deliciously good. I've had a tough week so it only makes sense that I watch this to kick off my weekend.

This video features one of my favourite singers, Andrew Bird, as he plays, sings and whistles his way through Paris.

Tip: The best part is at the end. What a great little scene with the unexpected audience at the top of the hill!
